The competition brief calls for a national museum that showcase the writing typologies of the world. The museum is to be the iconic new landmark of central Songdo, a brand new ultra modern satellite city planned outside of Seoul.

 

The concept derived from the staking of different writing form of the world from the Cuneiform to the Egyptian hieroglyphs, from the Chinese to the Mesoamerica writings.

 

The staking form form volumes of gallery spaces, and create in between spaces at the intersections.
